Glee S2E2

this is by far my favorite episode of glee yet. the main reason being that brittany, now known as brittany s. pierce, was a main character. this gives me hope because i'm hoping she can become a bit more dynamic. she has been my favorite character since the beginning, and i've been disappointed with her lack of importance in the show. part of this blog post will be devoted to all of brittany's noteworthy quotes this episode.

Glee Low

all of the performances were strong in this episode. i would just consider this the least strong.

Glee High

i loved this moment. this was brittany's dynamic moment. she proved her spot on glee by breaking out with mad song and dance skills. her resume does include being a backup dancer for beyonce.

• will really annoyed me in this episode, but then again he usually does. for some reason, his whole "i'm gonna lighten up" routine really didn't do it for me. he was obnoxious and weird. for example, a character of 35 years old dancing and singing provocatively with a high school glee club is kind of creepy. but glee does seem to be one of those shows that is always trying to push the envelope. 
• the jewish kid's little part in this episode was even more creepy and weird. i felt sort of violated by his actions. the best way to put it is that i felt very uncomfortable. i'm still kind of mad at FOX for including that part. 
• rachel still annoys me. she always have and always will. i'm not sure if it's her character or just lea michele. she's such a spoiled character. i feel like the show should have been called 'the lea michele' show just to warn all of us out there that she is the VIP. her character is what i would call a dynamic static character. how so? well she's become so overly dynamic that she's stuck being this static, one-dimensional character. she's overbearing and boring now because we, the audience, have seen way too much of her. now she's just this annoying spoiled brat that we have to unfortunately see every episode. i just wish she was more likable.
• john stamos. one word. brilliant. i've loved him since the days of full house. for him to play a dentist is random, but he had a lot of good moments. will he be around long? i think so. i think we'll find him quickly moving to the spotlight as will's top rival. anyone who watched full house knows that john stamos can sing. i'm not sure if it's glee-worthy, but he's not shy about singing. what i predict is that will and carl will have a sing-off for emma's heart. there's no other way to solve conflict in glee-land. 
• i love artie. team artie, right. but the whole going out for the football team is ridiculous. yes, i understand that it's glee and just about anything can happen in glee, but this is a bit out there. i just don't appreciate the comedic purpose of this like i'm supposed to. 
• i did appreciate sue's lack of appearance in this episode. i am definitely not a fan of sue. i think she's quite a witch and i am exhausted with the whole sue vs. will debacle. that's another reason i am thankful for carl- i believe he'll take over sue's spot. at least for another episode. 

Brittany's Most Memorable Moments:

1. I don't brush my teeth. I rinse my mouth out with soda after I eat. I was pretty sure Dr. Pepper was a dentist.
2. This room looks like that room on that spaceship when I got probed.
3. Please don't pull out all my teeth. I'll look like an adult baby, but with boobs. 
4. I would just like to say that from now on I demand to have every solo in glee club. When I had my teeth cleaned I had the most amazing Britney Spears fantasy. I sang and dance better than her. Now I realize what a powerful woman that I am.
5. Because my name is also Britney Spears. My middle name is Susan, my last name is Pierce, and that makes me Brittany S. Pierce, Britney Spierce. I've lived my entire life in Britney Spears' shadow. I will never be as talented or as famous. I hope you'll all respect that I want Glee Club to remain a place where I, Brittany S. Pierce, can escape the torment of Britney Spears.

What Did Kurt Wear:

i would like to call this the 'kurt skirt.' kurt is getting bloder and bolder everyday. but somehow, i'm never surprised to see what he's wearing. if there's one thing i can count on, it's kurt having the most feminine wardrobe that doesn't include a matching red and white shirt and pleated skirt combo.
