so last season ended with secrets galore. a murderer returned after being released from prison because there was proof that he didn't commit one murder, even tho he committed another one that is secret. bree's son killed carlos' mom and now she feels the need to be honest about it after 8+ years. and the hospital switched someone's baby at birth, but we haven't found out much expect they live on wisteria lane.
what a season finale.
so here we are, season 7. most shows don't make it this far, but i predict desperate housewives has at least two more seasons left. my apologies to you who hate this show. here's what went down on this episode:
- gabby and carlos are both keeping secrets from one another. and i'm not talking little secrets. i'm talking huge secrets. bree tells gabby about her son killing carlos' mother. to bree's surprise, gabby is not mad. she just doesn't want carlos to find out because it would kill him. secret #1. carlos finds out that their oldest daughter was switched at birth in the hospital eight years ago. he doesn't want gabby to find out because this would kill her. secret #2. so now they're playing a fatal game with each other, cat and mouse would you say?
- susan and mike (ironically my parents' names) are now broke and renting out their house to this 'pardoned' murderer. everyone is upset about this, but what do they know? susan and mike are living in a cheap apartment the size of a motel room with their 7 year old son. so what does susan do? naturally, she starts working for the landlord. doing internet stuff like cleaning the house in her underwear. no sex. no nudity. she's told this at least, but i have a feeling it will escalate.
- orson leaves bree and starts dating his physical therapist. but this isn't why he left. he claims he left because as bree's son's stepfather, he feels he should have been told about the killing of carlos' mom. but he was left out in the cold, so how can he ever trust bree again. meanwhile, bree tears ALL of the wallpaper off the walls in one night because orson did the decorating. she hires a strapping young man (brian austin green) to come do the remodeling. and i just know she's gonna end up sleeping with him.
- lynette just gave birth to their fifth child, and her WHOLE family is as ungrateful as ever. her first scene includes every, single person in her family nagging her about something that isn't getting done. her husband even saying '...this place [house] is really starting to go to hell.' oh no, he didn't! but, yes i'm afraid he did. then to make matters even more hectic, lynette's witch of a college roommate comes to visit. let's just say her whole character and story is pathetic and horrid. she's shallow, rude, egotistical, and manipulative. no surprise that she's there because her husband is leaving her.
- and last but least the man who just escaped prison, paul, is going to either murder or be murdered. see what happened was that he killed this vindictive woman's sister because this woman caused his wife to commit suicide. well then this vindictive woman, faked her death and framed paul. the vindictive woman was caught ten years later. alas, paul was released and here he is. now he's vindictive because, surprise surprise, none of the wisteria lane residents came to his trial or to visit him in prison. so basically, he's back to get his revenge. and this woman who framed her death is back to get her revenge. somehow from prison.
i think that's about it this week. i left out all the quips and jokes because just a synopsis is enough. i do promise that this show is funny, ironic, and satirical. it may be a bit predictable at times, but it's enjoyable. maybe you should give it a try...?
END.
